- It is also possible to rent a boat in Isola Rossa – it is a rubber boat with a motor and you can go along the coast around the cliffs in the direction of Costa Paradiso. Price approx. 120€/day
- Castelsardo is a charming historical town with a medieval castle, lots of cafes and restaurants. It has a fascinating atmosphere, and especially in the evening beautifully lit
- Along the way, you can stop at the elephant stone-Roccia dell’Elefante.
- Casteldoria Spa next to Santa Maria Coghinas – the thermal river Coghinas that flows through the area, on which the baths are built and where it is possible to lie down in the heated pools and relax directly on the river.
Especially in the colder spring or autumn months, it is a great relaxation between hikes 😊 - Maragnani beach between Valledoria and La Ciaccia – signposted on the main road between these villages. By the sea there is a possibility of parking in the season about 5 Euro per day – free in the low season.
There’s a nice bar with the best Aperol and great deep-fried octopus😊overlooking Castesardo. We love it here – it’s quiet and peaceful. - Further in Viddalba, or rather in Santa Maria Coghinas, next to the dominant red mountain Mote Ruju, there is a lookout tower-ruin, where you can go and enjoy the view of the entire landscape
